What is included in ongoing support?
Ongoing support includes unlimited content updates, bug fixes, security and vulnerability updates, library updates, uptime and integration monitoring, and testing coverage for existing features. I stay involved after launch to keep your site updated and running smoothly, unlike hands-off builders who deliver and disappear.
What counts as a content update?
Content updates include swapping text, updating prices, changing images, and other edits that do not require new code. These are always included at no extra cost.
What requires a one-time development fee?
New code, layout changes, integrations, or interactive features may have a one-time development fee. These are built with the same standards used on enterprise sites, including testing, performance, and long-term support. Once added, they are covered by future maintenance and content updates.
What happens if I request something outside the original scope?
All deadlines and pricing are based on the agreed specification sheet. If the scope changes after that, such as adding new features or shifting direction, it may affect cost and timeline. I will always confirm details with you first.
How does ownership work with the monthly plan?
Websites on the monthly plan are licensed. If you cancel service, the site is taken offline. You may choose to buy out the site at any time. The buyout is based on the current market value minus payments made, plus a fee for handling the transfer. After buyout, all support ends and future work is billed separately.
What are your pricing and billing terms?
For monthly plans, it is $200 per month with no upfront cost. Billing starts when the contract is signed and work begins. For one-time builds, the project is billed 50 percent upfront and 50 percent on completion.
Do you offer photography, branding, or copywriting?
Not directly, but I can connect you with trusted professionals for those services if needed. You are also welcome to bring your own collaborators.
Can I get new features or upgrades later?
Yes. If you need a new feature, section, or integration later on, just reach out and I will quote it as a one-time task.
How will we communicate during the project?
Email is the main channel for updates and deliverables. I am also available for check-ins or screenshares during key phases.
